Getting started with Innioasis Updater for Windows
It is recommended that you use a computer running Windows 11 (24H2) or later as Windows 10 reached the end of support on October 14, 2025) and a USB Type A to Type C cable, like the one included with the player.
Step one
Install Drivers
First, download DriverInstall.exe (tap/click here to download)
then double click the DriverInstall.exe package to install the necessary MediaTek SP USB Drivers, your computer will ask you if you would like for the driver installer to:
- Make changes to your computer - this is necessary in order for your computer to send firmware update packages to your Innioasis Y1
- Remove original driver - so that potential driver conflicts with older incompatible versions can be prevented

Restart your computer
In order for the drivers and the application to work, you'll first need to shut down and restart your computer.

Download and Install Innioasis Updater
First, click here to download Innioasis Updater.
Then. double click the Installer.exe file to start the installation, if asked whether you'd like the software to make changes to your system, please click 'Yes' so that the installer can place everything needed by Updater into the right places on your computer.
The install will begin from here, please be patient as it installs the app and automatically updates it to the latest version.
What's next?
Launch Updater and select your firmware update.
You can now launch it from your Desktop or Start Menu to update your Y1 to the latest Innioasis OS 3.0.2 or even use it to install Rockbox. (It has lots of other helpful features too)
