Delivery time not brilliant

Some good, some bad...

Good:
--Good screen,
IPS so good viewing angles as well. Also more than enough pixels to make text easy to read, and provide enough pixels to make album art look nice.
---Click Wheel
It's nice works well.
----Looks
Looks great, and since it's fully rounded sides, really comfy to use
----Massive Upgrade
As a non Y1 owner, can't speak fully on that, but external SD card is great, EMMC memory internal is great.Volume and Power Buttons are nice and I don't think detract from the looks of this thing.

Cons:
----Sound:
This sounds terrible, it's muffled, and muddy sounding. Drums sound impotent and like someone wrapped a cloth around the drumstick head. And out of the box both units (Bought one on Amazon and then the screen broke on me). The only thing I can think of, is this is tuned terribly. Like there's not enough power going to the headphone jack since even at full volume, it doesn't get painfully loud. I bought a clip on player called OdeJoi that I had to keep at 10 of 32 steps since anything past 10 was painfully loud, that thing cost $32. Also had an eq feature that you could custom tune.

-----COLD SOLDER JOINTS:
This is a more TECHNICAL issue, but holy cow this thing is riddled with cold solder joints. The sound out of the box sounded terrible. There was this weird thing where if I had wired headphones in, and I left like 2mm of the jack out of the device, sounded infinitely better than when I seated the jack all the way into the device. It would get super quiet, and sound muddy. But having the Jack 2mm out of the device means the external speaker would still be active.

This cold solder joint issue led to my display problem. I dropped my first one, a Black one with no added SD card, but I wanted the silver one since I live on the gulf coast, use this during dog walks and lawn mowing. I dropped it on my tile floor in a TPU case, and something happened either to the CPU itself, or the ribbon connector, but now I have a distorted image and scan lines on my display. Cracked open the device, put it in another ipod imitation device known as the Playerpure 5X (which is $35 on Amazon, has external SD and BT 5.3 and is the size of the Y1, and the Y1 TPU cases work on it) and both use the same display connector and the display worked perfectly fine on the Playerpure so it's a connector or CPU issue due to cold solder joints.

Also I know it's a cold solder joint issue, since when I decided to put pressure on the headphone jack with a pair of headphones fully plugged into it, and pinched from both sides, noticed the sound quality spike drastically for the better. That now it's fine, the sound quality is a lot better, but it's tuned like crap.

Custom ROMS

This is the only reason why I'm not overly mad at this. Custom Roms and the Custom Rom scene for this is great. Y2Player and JJ are great rom options that make this so much better. Especially Y2Player. The stock rom is fine... But the Y2Player fixes some of the audio quality issues.

Conclusion:

I don't recommend it. For the Y3 add touch screen, since this is secretly an Android device, a glass lens, and more rigid structure internally. I don't regret my purchase since thanks to the Custom Rom community, it's decent. Not great.

I ordered the G1 almost 3 weeks before my son’s birthday. The main feature we were looking for was Amazon Music. After 2 weeks of no updates they finally sent a message saying they didn’t have the color we ordered. Finally they said they could send the upgraded version G3 or something. I said just send something. We finally received it in the mail almost a month later and it wind open Amazon Music. I reached out via FB message and email. No phone number available. They said they will have someone contact me which was about a week ago. Going to send it back. Not happy with this experience.

I bought my innioasis y1 in january, now it's october and it refuses to connect to my pc. Also I dropped it (on the ground outside, so it wasn't even a hard surface) (from a 1m height) once within the first week and the screen broke (something disconnected inside the device and i have no way of getting in to fix it). Overall the quality of the mp3 player is very poor and it feels extremaly cheap. If I could go back in time I woudn't have bought it.

Overall a nice player. Blue tooth is a bummer. Won’t work proper on half of my devices and blocks. So every time I have to go back to factory settings an reinstall my library so I use it wired with my headset

I love this gadget because it handles all my apps and has freed up space on my iPhone. It’s become my go-to device for Bose, Netflix, Gmail, YouTube, Amazon, TikTok, Messenger, and so much more. The sound quality is superb, and the video looks excellent. It’s compact, easy to use, and well worth the money. It fits right in my pocket, and just a few minutes of charging gives me days of use. I highly recommend it!

I wish I had more updates on the shipping but everything was fine, received my package without a problem.

¡ Sois unos auténticos sinvergüenzas! Pero todo en la vida cae sobre su propio peso. ¡Experiencia nefasta! Equipo postventa inexistente

The delivery took some days, but it is more of a carrier thing, despite that, all great

Great experience

La pantalla de plastico se ralla muy facil

Dena oso ondo!

shipped perfectly and everything; it's a great model for what its cost is. my only gripe is the cheap SD card – it occasionally self-corrupts, that is, if you're using rockbox. i don't know if it does it with stock software, but it has happened to me multiple times.

Rien à dire, envoi rapide et sécurisé même avec l'option la moins chère

Hi, after more than a month of using the Y1 and MANY mails from your team asking me to leave a review, here it is : I carefully picked every tweak so it bothers none of the already existing functions.

First of all, from the options menu, having access to “playing now” would be great since it’d the only way to turn volume up or down with wired headphones. (The jack cable doesn’t carry volume info)this could
Be implemented as a pop up closable with a simple press of the return button.

Now from that “playing now” menu, the thumbnail display is nice but to have it larger and in 2D would make the musics easier to recognize since some song’s thumbnails can be very detailed.
There is also no way to add a song to a playlist from the “playing now” window. Which means that if you play music in shuffle mode, and want to add a song to a playlist, you’ll have to either look it up in the gigantic library or look it up with the search option. Both of these ways are anything but easy.

Now talking about the keyboard :
Moving through the letter’s list is great but sometimes inaccurate. To resolve this slight issue, simply pressing “forward” or “backwards” button would be great since they have no use in the keyboard.

And finally, there is no numbers in the keyboard and I personally have lots of songs that have numbers as titles, coupled with the fact that I have to look them up to add them to a playlist; it’s really not ideal.

Other than that I absolutely love the design, interface is simple, working and great. I witnessed NO BUGS of any kind and music is playing properly with fantastic quality.

Thank you for reading this, and, even tho I’m already talking about this player to my friends and family, the changes I pointed in the comment would encourage me to offer some to people and share it more.

Thank you again to the whole team !

Innioasis was very helpful, when I emailed support telling them my item was marked as delivered but not delivered to my address they quickly sent out a replacement, which was very nice, as they could have just said its not their problem since it was marked as delivered

Shipping took a while to recieve parcel.

Please fix Bluetooth connection to car that requires a pin.
