Transfer Files from Android

Per the Q8 manual, transfer music, videos, and photos from an Android phone using the Send Anywhere app. Send Anywhere (File transfer) is pre-installed on the Q8.

On your Android phone

1. Install "Send Anywhere" from Google Play if needed.
2. Open Send Anywhere and go to the Send tab.
3. Choose files to send (photos, videos, audio, and more).
4. Tap Send to generate a 6-digit key or QR code.

On your Q8 player

1. Open the File transfer / Send Anywhere app on the player.
2. Go to the Receive tab.
3. Enter the 6-digit key from your phone, or scan the QR code.
4. Tap RECEIVE to start the transfer.

Tips

You can transfer in the opposite direction using the same steps. QR codes can be used instead of typing the key.
